About Pet Emergency Center

The Team Caring for Your Pet.

Pet Emergency Center is independently owned and locally operated by veterinarians who live and work in this community. When your pet needs us, these are the people you will meet.

Real people. Real care.

Real People. Real Care. Right Here in Fort Lauderdale.

In a veterinary industry increasingly defined by corporate ownership and rotating staff, Pet Emergency Center has done things differently. Our team is small by design. Most of us have worked together for years. We know each other, we know our patients, and we know the families who trust us during the scariest moments with their pets.

When you call us or walk through our doors, you are not handed off through a phone tree. You meet the people who actually care for your pet.

The care team

Our Veterinary Technicians, Support Staff, and Night Team.

Behind every emergency case is a team of skilled veterinary technicians and support staff who do extraordinary work under pressure. Our technicians are trained, experienced, and deeply invested in patient outcomes. They are the calm presence at the front desk, the careful hands monitoring a patient through the night, and the steady voices guiding families through the hardest moments.

Many of our team members have worked together for years. That continuity matters in emergency medicine. When the team knows each other, the care moves faster, the communication is clearer, and the patient is the one who benefits.

How we practice

How Our Team Approaches Every Patient.

Our team does not follow a corporate playbook. We follow a set of principles that come from how we believe medicine should be practiced.

Compassion Before Anything Else

Every patient gets the same level of care, regardless of the hour, the volume, or the situation. Every family is met with empathy first.

Honest Communication

We tell you what we are seeing in plain language. We explain the options. We give you the information to make the right decision for your pet, not the most expensive one.

Patient-Centered Plans

Treatment plans are designed around your pet and your real life. If a plan is not realistic for your household, we find a different one.

Calm Under Pressure

Emergency medicine can get chaotic. Our team has learned how to stay steady when the room is not. That steadiness is what families remember.

Compassionate care. Always Here.
